Well, all I can say is wow! We had a wonderful time last night. I went to every table after dinner and asked what people thought of their meal and heard nothing but compliments! I specifically asked if there was anything they didn’t like, and not one person had a complaint. The food was absolutely delicious (we all traded bites at our table, so we tasted everything), fresh and cooked perfectly. Your staff was wonderful, dinner started at 6 on the dot and they worked with our teenage servers so that each table was served quickly and the whole table got their meals at the same time (and they were so nice too!). Debbie Duggan went above & beyond when I came to her to cater my far from normal wedding reception. My fiance and I really wanted an outdoor wedding reception for over a hundred people in Morro Bay but came up short when trying to find a venue. We decided to rent a gorgeous, on the water, public park, Tidelands Park. This meant that we had to do a lot more work with renting every piece of equipment, getting proper permitting, and finding vendors who were up for the challenge as well. From the moment we hired Debbie she took us under her wing, reminding us of things we didn't think about that we had to buy, rent, or provide and even helped provide recommendations of vendors. When it came time to do our food tasting, Debbie first met us at our unusual park location to figure out where she would be setting up on the day-of and then had us over to her kitchen in SLO the next day to feast on her fabulous cuisine. Everything we tried was outstanding that day and to all of our surprise, the food was just as delicious when catered to the park on the day of our wedding reception. Debbie's presentation and friendly staff deserve a compliment as well- everything was presented incredibly and her staff was so joyful all day during our long event and were truly there to make every single person attending have an excellent time.

DEBBIE IS AMAZING!! I needed to plan a wedding reception in CA from my home in MN. Debbie went above and beyond to help me with so many things. She is so friendly, professional and an amazing cook. We feel like we found the best caterer in CA!! She connected me to a cake maker and a florist and they both turned out to be awesome also! Debbie catered our wedding in San Luis Obispo in March 2017. Lets just say, people are still coming up to me to tell me how much they loved the food at our wedding! My husband and I love good food and are spoiled in San Francisco, where we live. What drew us to Debbie was her homemade food (everything is from scratch), use of high quality, fresh, local ingredients, and years of catering experience and expertise. She is well-connected in the industry, but not pretentious at all. Rather, she is a gem to work with.
Our wedding included a cocktail reception with passed appetizers followed by a formal sit-down dinner. We worked with Debbie to draft a menu that reflected seasonal California cuisine. For the passed appetizers, we had her coconut encrusted shrimp with red pepper sauce, lamb lollipops, and the most beautiful cheese station with dried fruits, nuts, crackers, draped on its own table in the center of the cocktail reception. These apps were to die for.
For dinner, we started with a local greens salad with mixed berries, candied cayenne pecans, and pomegranate vinaigrette; this salad was unreal! The entree choices were macadamia encrusted halibut or filet mignon with a Brandy Peppercorn sauce; for the Vegetarians, we offered a Spring vegetable and cheese lasagna. All entrees were served with some sort of garlic potatoes, as well as a vegetable stir-fry with fresh basil. Everything was delicious. I appreciated how the portions were generous, the food presentation was spot-on, and the plates came out hot, despite it being a chilly night! Debbie's servers were professional and went above and beyond to make sure each person got what they ordered, as well as continued to fill up wine and water glasses throughout the evening.
We could not have asked for a better experience with a vendor for our wedding. My husband and I are looking forward to attending our friend's wedding in May because we know Debbie will be catering that too!

"Look no further... I must admit now, that Debbie was the first, an only, tasting we needed to do for our wedding. We know quality when we see it, and there was no need to "shop around" after we tried Central Coast Catering's delicious food! Chef Debbie is an all-star. She is professional, understanding, and helped up through the process without being overbearing or absent. The salmon and bbq tri-tip (with a dedicated bbq guy) were fantastic, and her side dishes were the perfect compliment. We couldn't be happier with the food or service that Debbie and her team provided for our wedding, and we had so many compliments on how good the food was. The huge cheese table was the perfect appetizer solution and was devoured. Ask for long-stemmed strawberries for your dessert or cheese table--everyone raved about them too! Debbie is awesome!"

We used Debbie to cater our wedding in July and the food was excellent. We served heavy appetizers and our guests loved everything. They packaged up the leftovers for us and did clean up as well. Her staff was very friendly and professional. I've also taken a few of her cooking classes and they were fun. She gives you the recipes and I've remade several of them. They all came out just as good as when she made them in the class.

Debbie Dugan catered my wedding this summer and it was an absolute success. From the get go she was so genuine, knowledgeable and easy to talk to about all my wedding ideas. She helped me navigate through how much food and beverage to have for the 150+ people we were expecting and even made sure there would be an option for them to have seconds!
Days after our big day everyone was still talking about how delicious the Santa Maria BBQ was.
I really appreciated her guidance in picking out place settings from "Got You Covered", which is the party supply rental company in San Luis we used. I was able to get everything from place settings to umbrellas they were incredible.
On the day of my wedding Debbie set up a beautiful spread of delicious fruit, cheeses and nuts that was devoured in what seemed like a moment. Debbie and her incredible team seamlessly served all our hungry guests at the perfect time and our wedding went off without a hitch. I and my husband are so thankful to have had the honor of having Debbie as our caterer, and I personally could not have done it without her!

People are still talking about how good the food was at our wedding! It was such a pleasure working with Debbie Duggan and her team at Central Coast Culinary. I had heard that Debbie was the best caterer in town, and immediately upon sitting down with her and talking through our vision for our wedding, we were blown away by her ideas (and hungry!). After trying a bunch of dishes at our tasting, we ended up going with a Mediterranean theme, which was perfect for our Summer wedding in wine country just outside of San Luis Obispo. What I appreciated most about working with Debbie was that she was there on my wedding day, making sure everything was perfect in terms of the food. It was important to me that she be at the wedding because she was my point of contact all along, and I had heard of other caterers having multiple weddings on the same day - but not Debbie. Her team was super professional too, and provided great service, really taking care of all our friends and family. The food was absolutely fabulous. My husband and I love good food, and it was important to us to have quality food at the wedding. The food we tasted at Debbie's cooking school was of the same quality as the food at our wedding, which served 160 people. Debbie provided us with really reasonable prices for such high quality, homemade, fresh food. And, there was plenty of food to go around. I had been to a wedding earlier that year in which there wasn't enough food, but this was not the case at our wedding! Also, I must say, that Debbie went above and beyond just being our caterer for our wedding. She is so knowledgeable about the Central Coast, and knows everyone, so she was able to help coordinate various rentals, and recommend the best vendors in our budget, which was super helpful since we're not from the Central Coast, and this was considered a "destination wedding" to some. Overall, I totally recommend Debbie as a caterer for a wedding, or any event really. Her services were reasonable, professional, and the food was beyond delicious.
